Producer Compensation

To Display a Producer Compensation List:
1. Click on the radio button for either All Companies or Specified Company. If Specified Company is selected, the system will fill in the list of companies under the Select Company heading in the center of screen. Then, click on the company desired.
2. Next, click on the radio button for either Open, Paid or All Items.
3. Next, click on the Producer for which the list will be run. Use the scroll bar to view the entire list of producers. The system will now compile a list based on the radio buttons and producer selected.
4. Using the radio buttons in the lower left corner of the screen, the Producer Compensation items can be re-arranged and displayed according to the user's preference. Simply click on the radio button with the sort option desired.
Accessing Producer No. 2 List:
1. To access the open items for Producer No. 2 input on the invoice, you will need to first click the Prod #2 List check box in the upper left corner.
2. Next, follow instructions 1 - 4 above.
Printing a Producer Compensation List:
1. To print everything listed, simply click on the PRINT button at the bottom of the screen.
2. The system will prompt the user to change the print orientation to landscape, as the report is wider than most.
3. To print specific items, holding the Ctrl key down, click one-time on each of the items to be printed. This high-lights the items or drag the mouse down the list to high-light several items together. Now, when the Print button is clicked, it will only print those items high-lighted. Again, the system will prompt the user to change the print orientation to landscape, as the report is wider than most.
Paying Producer Compensation Items:
1. Double-click on the items that are to be paid to the Producer. This will move the items from the main list and place them in the box in the upper right corner titled "Amount to be Paid to Producer."
2. Items may be removed from the "Paid" box. To do this, click one-time on the item in the "Paid" box. A window will pop up asking if the user wants to remove the item from the list.
3. If "Yes" is selected, the item will be removed from the "Paid" list, however, the user will not see it on the main list until the list is redrawn. (See Displaying Producer Compensation List.)
4. Once the items in the "Paid" box are complete, a list of these items can only be run by clicking on the "Print Paid List" button found immediately below the "Paid" box. This "Paid List" can then be used as supporting documentation when issuing the check to the Producer.
5. The items to be paid can be posted by clicking on the "Post As Paid" button at the bottom of the screen. This will flag the items as having been paid to the producer as of the current system date.
6. Note: The posting process does not affect the financials, only the Producer Compensation screens. However, when the items are paid to the Producer via a system check, when the check is "paid", the check will affect the financials as usual.
Notes:
Ledger: The button at the bottom of the screen marked LEDGER will take the user to the ledger card of the client that is high-lighted on the screen. This allows the user to see the insureds account comprehensively.
