Certificate of Insurance

Inputting:
1. Find the customer on the Client Services screen.
2. Click on the appropriate policy, so it is high-lighted.
3. There are 2 ways to access the Certificate of Insurance.
4. 1st: Click on the FORMS button located two-thirds down on the screen.
5. 2nd: From the Functions menu at the top of the screen, select Forms Printing.
6. From the Forms window, click on Certificate of Insurance.
7. If the certificate is for an auto policy, a screen will appear for you to select the appropriate vehicle.
8. If the coverages were inputted correctly on the policy, they will transfer automatically to the certificate. Enter any additional information necessary.
Certificate Holder
1. To obtain the computer list, type in the first 1 - 4 letters of the additional interest/certificate holder's name and TAB. The list will display. Click on your choice and AgencyToday will automatically insert the name and address in the additional interest/certificate holder field.
2. To ADD a new additional interest to the list, select "Add New Lienholder". Type in the name and address of the additional interest.
3. The additional interest/certificate holder's name and address may also be typed in directly for a one-time situation.
Additional Insured
If the certificate holder is an additional insured, then check the additional insured box.
Cancellation Clause
1. You have the ability to edit the number of days in the cancellation clause if necessary.
2. If the certificate holder would like the "Will Endeavor " wording Xd out, you will just need to check the "Will Mail" box. When the certificate is printed, that wording will be omitted.
3. If your signature has been scanned into AgencyToday, you can check the "Print Signature" box and the certificate will be printed with your signature.
4. Be sure to click on the SAVE button when finished.
5. Print.
Retrieving a Saved Certificate
1. Find your client.
2. Click on the SAVED FORMS button at the bottom of the screen and select Certificate of Insurance.
3. A window will appear for you to select the date range of the certificates you would like to view. Click on the appropriate box.
4. A list will appear matching the criteria you selected. At this time, you have the ability to sort this list by Date, Cert#, Certholders Name or Insured. Click on the appropriate blue check box on the left to sort.
5. If you need to edit the certificate, click on the applicable cert. and it will automatically be brought up.
6. If you need to print the certificate, click on the "Print Selected Only" and then click on the certificate you need. (To select more than one certificate, hold your Ctrl key down as you make your selections.) Then Print.
7. You also have the option to print the certificate holder list by clicking on the "Print Client Cert List" check box.
