Interrupt Feature

There is an interrupt feature in AgencyToday, so that if you are in the middle of inputting a policy, certificate, etc., you can save what you’re doing at that moment and go to another area of the program. Later, you can go back to this item when you are ready.

Accessing the Interrupt Feature:

Interrupt can be accessed three ways.

1st: In the upper right corner of the Client Services screen is a small yellow Interrupt box.

2nd: From the Functions pull-down menu, select Interrupt.

3rd: When inputting a policy or form, there will be a button on the right labeled FUNC (for functions). Select Interrupt from this menu.

Using the Interrupt Feature:

Let’s say for example, that you are inputting a Certificate of Insurance and receive a phone call and need to go to another area of the program. Simply click on Interrupt. (Accessed in one of three ways as described above).

When Interrupt is selected, the data that has been inputted so far is immediately saved, so you can move to another area of the program.

When you are ready to go back and complete the original task, you will need to click on the Interrupt List box. (The Interrupt List box is accessed in the same three areas the Interrupt box is accessed).

When the Interrupt List box is selected, a list of the items that were interrupted will appear.

Double click on the item you need and you will return to that screen to complete your task.
