Free Insurance Quote Marketplace, an open and transparent insurance quoting request auction for most types of insurance, offers consumers or businesses an anonymous and hassle-free way to request auctioned insurance quotes directly from professional insurance agent/brokers.
Consumers do not provide any personal identifiable information for a quote– no last name, address, phone number, drivers license number, social security number or email address.
While identity is omitted, agent/brokers are provided enough detail to generate quotes with real rates, tailored to the consumer’s request. Once the consumer submits a request, any agent/broker visiting Ratenow can browse outstanding requests and view competing quotes offered by other agent/brokers. However, only agent/brokers who are state licensed may participate in this Insurance Quote Marketplace and submit their quote responses back to consumers.
Ratenow does not limit the number of quotes a consumer may receive and/or offers in a standardized quote form making comparing quotes easy — along with each companies rates and feedback. The Insurance Quote Marketplace quote request requires agent/brokers to disclose all fees upfront and estimated payment options. This makes it easier for consumers to compare insurance quotes on an apples-to-apples basis, noting any differences and better evaluate overall affordability.
While the consumer always maintains complete control of the process, the consumer decides which agent/broker they want to contact, if any. Only when the consumer contacts a agent/broker will their identity be requested but only from the consumer. One last thing, consumers may request additional quotes at any time later without re-entering the same information.
